High Silica Tape is woven of high silica yarn with 96% SiO2, has salvaged edges to prevent raveling. It’s available for applications requiring minimum shrinkage at high temperature, with excellent size stability against heating. High silica fiberglass tape can used for a long time without changing its properties at the temperature 900℃. Its softening point is closely 1700℃ and it can be used under 1000℃ situation for a long time.

It’s used for high temperature working conditions, such as protection of equipment fire, extreme heat, welding splatter and molten metal in molten metallurgy, electric power, coal and other industries to ensure safety and smooth operation.

--Used in ovens, furnaces and boilers as door seal and thermal insulation pad.
--Used as pipe wrap in such applications as steam tracer lines.

Storage:
High Silica Tape should be stored in its original packaging in a dry and cool place. Best conditions are at temperatures from 15 to 35°C and humidity between 35 and 65%. If no special requirements, it should be stored in cool and dry place. Don’t open the package before using to prevent absorbing moisture.
To ensure safety and avoid damage to the product, the pallets should not be stacked more than three layers high, when the pallets are stacked in 2 or 3 layers, care should be taken to correctly and smoothly move the top pallet.
